About The Study
People Science is conducting a study to better understand the safety, tolerability and effects on skin appearance of 2 different investigational plant-based topical creams on individuals with eczema (also known as atopic dermatitis). Working closely with you as a study participant from the comfort of your home, our goal is to collect data related to your skin and eczema symptoms through simple online surveys, photographs and the use of a wrist-worn device that measures scratching while you sleep. The results of this study will allow researchers to understand if this plant-based cream is safe and tolerable and if it improves skin appearance.
After signing up, you will take a short online questionnaire to find out whether you qualify for the study. After qualification, you will complete brief online surveys about your medical history and medications and you will take photos of your skin using your smartphone. You will also answer daily online surveys while applying the study cream twice a day. The data you provide will be made anonymous, and the analyzed results will be shared with you and the research scientists.
