About The Study

Are you 18-65 years old, overweight, and have moderate to severe digestive discomfort? Join our study to better understand the impact of a new investigational probiotic. Anaerostipes caccae CLB101™️ is a next-generation probiotic isolated from healthy humans to generate butyrate in the targeted intestinal locations where it can optimally benefit cells that line the gut. 

After signing up, you will take a short online questionnaire to find out whether you qualify for the study. After qualification, you will complete brief online surveys about your medical history and medications. During the study, you will answer daily and weekly online surveys, complete two at-home stool collections, 2 at-home urine tests and two blood draws with a mobile phlebotomist. The data you provide will be made anonymous, and the analyzed results will be shared with you and the research scientists.

What Can I Expect?

• Download a mobile application called Chloe to guide you through your study journey
• Complete study activities over the course of 12 weeks
• Complete brief daily and weekly surveys on a mobile app
• Complete two at-home stool collections, 2 at-home urine tests, and 2 blood sample collection with a mobile phlebotomist 
• Use the study product or placebo for a total of 4 weeks
