Contest Terms and Conditions 
1. Introduction
By entering this contest, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to wellness product companies, academic institutions, and community organizations.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must recruit individuals from and run the study in our approved countries: United States, Australia, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, and the United Kingdom. 
  • Not open to employees of People Science or their immediate family members.
  • Willingness to participate in joint marketing activities.
3. How to Enter
Submit your application through the online submission form here, including:

  • A description of the study you want to conduct.
  • How you plan to share the results with your community.
  • All entries must be submitted by January 15, 2025 11:59PM PST.

4. Prize Details

  • Access to People Science's clinical trial software for 6 months at no-cost.
    • 2 role-based business seats
    • Up to 150 study participant seats
  • 5 hours of personalized decentralized clinical trial design assistance
5. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected based on:
  • Study relevance.
  • Potential community impact.
  • Plans for sharing study results. 

Winners will be contacted via email by January 23rd, 2025.

6. Notification and Claiming the Prize
Winners must respond to the notification email within 7 days to claim the prize.
If no response is received within this period, an alternative winner will be chosen.

7. Publicity
By entering, you agree that People Science can use your name and organization’s information for promotional purposes.  By entering, you also agree to collaborate with People Science in developing and sharing content about the product and/or the study prior, during, and after study execution.  Examples of content could include video testimonials, joint press releases, social media posts, and infographics.

8. General Terms

  • People Science reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or invalid entries.
  • The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • This contest is void where prohibited by law.
  • Prize distribution is dependent on executing a no-cost software service agreement with additional terms and conditions of software use.
  • Prize must be used before the end of September 2025.

9. Privacy
Your personal information will only be used for contest-related purposes and in accordance with People Science’s Privacy Policy.

10. Liability
By entering this contest, participants agree that People Science and its affiliates, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the contest, acceptance of the prize, or any related actions by participants, including any actions or inactions related to study conduct. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss, damage, or injury caused by the use or misuse of the prize or any actions or inactions related to study conduct.

11. Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless People Science, its affiliates, employees, agents, and contractors from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:

  • Their participation in the contest;
  • Any breach of these Terms and Conditions;
  • The use of the prize;
  • Any actions or inactions related to study conduct.

12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without giving effect to any conflict of laws provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution
The Parties agree that any dispute or controversy arising out of or relating to any interpretation, construction, performance or breach of this Agreement may be brought in the United States District Court in the Central District of California, or if such court does not accept jurisdiction or will not accept jurisdiction, in any court of general jurisdiction in the State of California.
